This December, Emirates invites travelers to immerse themselves in a month-long celebration of festive delights. With seasonal treats offered in lounges worldwide and onboard, over a million expected passengers can experience the airline's signature hospitality enhanced by holiday magic.

Christmas treats to expect on Emirates

Holiday Dining Onboard

From December 14–26, passengers across all classes can enjoy festive hot chocolate with unique toppings, including marshmallows, meringues, and Valrhona chocolate. Special holiday treats will also be distributed: dark chocolate truffles in Economy, gingerbread cookies in Premium Economy and Business Class, and raspberry Paris-Brest pastries in First Class.

On Christmas Eve through Boxing Day, festive meals will be served in every cabin:

  • First Class: Seasonal starters like salmon gravadlax or pickled herring lead into mains such as herb-crusted lamb shank or seared venison, with sides like truffle potato gratin and roasted Brussels sprouts. Desserts include festive favorites, with an edible Santa Claus made of fresh strawberries and cream.

  • Business and Premium Economy: Options include classic roast turkey, duck confit, or lamb shank, paired with rich sides and seasonal desserts like fruitcake and mousse.

  • Economy Class: Passengers can enjoy roasted turkey roulade with maple-roasted parsnips, followed by a festive dessert like fruitcake or mousse cake designed for children.

The A380 Onboard Lounge offers seasonal bites, including mince pies, festive macarons, stollen, and sandwiches filled with turkey, roast beef, and cranberry sauce.

Festive Feasts at Emirates Lounges

In Dubai, Emirates’ First and Business Class lounges are serving up seasonal favorites. Guests can enjoy roasted turkey with cranberry sauce, glazed chestnuts, root vegetables, Brussels sprouts, and new potatoes. Complementing the meal are premium drinks, including Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2013 and 2015, festive mocktails like the Tranquil Tundra and Cozy Hearth by Dilmah, and cocktails like the Jingle Mule by Evian and Holiday Spiced Sour by Perrier.

First Class lounges also feature indulgent winter desserts such as stollen, mince pies with vanilla sauce, red currant cheesecake, cinnamon profiteroles, and gingerbread chocolate cake. Meanwhile, Business Class lounges offer a tempting dessert menu with options like cherry pistachio tart, yule logs, lime macarons with peppermint ganache, and fruitcake. To accompany these, guests can sip on Moët Ice Impérial Brut and Rosé or cozy up with gingerbread lattes and mint hot chocolate from Costa Coffee.

Around the world, Emirates Lounges highlight regional holiday favorites, from lobster bisque and rib-eye beef in San Francisco to roasted duck with red cabbage in Hamburg and Norwegian salmon in Cape Town.

Fine Wines at Altitude

This December, First Class customers on routes to the UK and USA can savor Château Mouton Rothschild 2003, a prestigious Bordeaux vintage from the Emirates Vintage Collection. Featuring a label designed by Pablo Picasso, this wine commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Rothschild family’s acquisition of the estate.

Additionally, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2, 2004—a champagne aged for nearly 15 years—is being served on select First Class flights to these destinations. Business Class passengers can enjoy M. Chapoutier Hermitage Monier de la Sizeranne 2019 on European routes, while Premium Economy travelers on flights to Australia and New Zealand can sample Château de Sales Pomerol 2014.

Orthodox Christmas Celebrations

From December 24 to January 8, Emirates celebrates Orthodox Christmas on flights between Russia, Cyprus, Ethiopia, and Dubai. Dishes include lobster tail with celeriac purée, duck confit with truffle gratin, and desserts like peppermint mousse cake and gingerbread cake.

Holiday Entertainment

On Emirates’ award-winning ice entertainment system, passengers can choose from 42 holiday movies, including Candy Cane Lane, EXmas, and The Polar Express, as well as classics like Elf and Last Christmas. There are also Christmas TV specials and music albums featuring artists like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sam Smith.

With this array of festive offerings, Emirates ensures passengers experience the joy of the season at every altitude.
