Dear Fellow Travelers, I'm compelled to share my recent experience with Ryanair as a cautionary tale. On December 2nd, 2023, my flight RK33 from Oslo Torp to London Stansted suffered a frustrating 5-hour delay, with virtually no communication from Ryanair, leaving passengers stranded and confused. Despite my efforts to seek compensation under EU Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, Ryanair was dismissive, offering generic responses and no meaningful resolution. They also insisted on compensating for food and drinks, but options at the airport were severely limited, leaving passengers with no alternatives. I share this not out of spite but to advocate for better treatment of passengers. We deserve transparency and respect. Think twice before booking with Ryanair, and let's work together to raise service standards. Warm regards.
