Customer Relations gave false information on the phone regarding to why I couldn't do online check-in. At the airport I learned I had to get eTA for Canada which caused me to miss the flight as the process took over an hour. Later, Canadian border officer told me that I could get it at the customs too but that some airlines just refuse boarding people without it, unnecessarily. When forced to rebook my flight at Mexico City airport, the agent did not tell me that due to weather conditions, flight changes to Canada were free of charge during those 5 days during which i had my original and rebooked flight. She only told me I could rebook for $450-600 or buy a new ticket for $350. I did the latter, naturally. Without the rebooking fees I would pay only $200. Later I learned about the discount on rebooking fees. Called to request money back. CR had a rude attitude and told me it's my fault that I bought a new ticket instead of rebooking and that they wouldn't help. They didn't care that the agent at the airport didn't give me the information.
