Vietjet has welcomed the latest addition to its fleet: an Airbus A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex), which touched down at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City after departing from Airbus’s factory in Hamburg, Germany.
This delivery marks the airline's 111th aircraft, further strengthening its modern fleet.
The new Airbus A321neo ACF features 240 seats rather than the standard 240 thanks to utilisation of the ACF. This aircraft model also delivers exceptional efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and emissions by up to 20% while cutting noise levels by up to 50%.
As part of its strategic growth plan, Vietjet is set to receive three additional aircraft this December. To accommodate increased travel demand during the Lunar New Year holiday, the airline will also wet-lease six to ten aircraft on a short-term basis, ensuring sufficient capacity for domestic and international travelers.
In 2024, Vietjet has continued to expand its operations with new aircraft deliveries, reinforcing its reputation as the most dynamic carrier in the region. These fleet additions will enhance the airline’s ability to serve peak-season passengers while supporting its growing global flight network, which connects Vietnam to a wide range of international destinations.
