I tarvelled to Kochi with my family from Brisbane on 13th December 2016 and returned to Brisbane from Kochi (India) on 20th January. We travelled Kochi every alternative year from Melbourne to Kochi since 2009 by Singapore Airlines. This tme we travelled from Brisbane. I tried Air Asia in between but went back to Singapore Airlines due to higher quality. But my latest experience with SIA has left me feeling dissapointed. On every other trip, the food we got was above average, especially for economy class,. But this time, the food was absolutely horrible. I got a pork sausage with egg and vegetables. The sausage was dry, the egg was far too cooked and the vegetables were almost raw. The second meal wasn't much better. I also noticed a dip in service quality. I had been warned by my friend that Singapore Airlines were losing their standards. He had a horrible experience but I opted to remain due to my trust in the airline. I now deeply regret this descision.
