I was on flight 499 leaving San Deigo, Ca with a designation of Seattle, wa. The reps scanning boarding passes and assisting with baggage were very rude. The rep scanning the boarding passes said my bag was too large, okay however, I explained it was the same bag with the same contents when I 'carried it on from Seattle.' She kept arguing with me saying I went shopping and the way she treated me was definitely no service anyone deserves in customer service. The rep assisting with checking bags at the gate even took it upon herself to tell me to leave my baggage there as if I was trying to take it on the plane. I believe I have a right to grab a personal item from my bag for the plane ride? After this experience I will fly another airline. This was over the top and I wouldn't recommend flying Alaska to anyone.
