American Airlines review by Lowery

I've already done a pre-review because American changed my wife and I's seats with no real explanation or compensation or even apology, so this is a follow up. The flight in which our seats were changed couldn't have gone any worse. My leg rest in premium economy obviously had a pneumatic pump leak with the foot rest because as soon as I placed my legs on it the foot rest collapsed back into the down position. Also, for the money premium economy was decent. The seats are wide and the legroom is good, however the design and execution of the footrest in the bulkhead is horrible. It does not go up high enough which puts your legs in a very uncomfortable position. On a longer flight obviously premium economy is an upgrade, but don't expect to blown away by any stretch of the imagination.
