Just has a terrible experience with Jet Blue. Left Chicago for JFK three hours late. Then when we were returning the next day , we were told the flight was cancelled due to weather in the New Orleans area. Thus there was no plane and since they are partners with no other airline, we had to stay overnight to take an early morning flight back to Chicago. Try to find a hotel room in NYC on a Saturday evening at 4:00pm in June with no vacancies and three of us stranded with no person to help. Lucky we had our IPad and for 3 hours tried to find a flight or hotel. After three hours we found the last hotel rooms and our cost for the evening was an extra $500 for the room and dinner. All we wanted to do was to be on another flight. Never fly this airline for they have no recourse than to let you wait for another flight even if it is the next day and the hotel is your bill. Our other family member flying that has memory problems due to surgery, was not put on our flight but rather alone even though the records show we needed to be together. What kind of customer service is this?
