Economy Class

Travelled economy class London-Baku on a Boeing 767. As a person with mild phobia of flying, I have to say I was absolutely terrified to get on board this airline and also the prospect of flying over Ukraine territory, i.e. Crimea. I did not look forward to the day of flying at all, however, I was very relieved to say that everything was in order and that I've unjustly assumed some bad things about the airline. Luckily, the flight path does not go over Ukraine... flight is diverted towards Turkey / southern shore of Black Sea :-) Also, it's clearly a brand new flight, pretty air cabin hostesses and good meals on board. Safety & security and visa checks is stricter in Baku compared to other airports I've been to. The inflight system with the movies etc wasn't really working, I could not get the sound to work which was typical as they had brand new movies to show. Overall, apart from some nasty turbulence on the way back, I don't really have anything negative to say about this airline.
