Air Canada will offer low prices but the service is terrible and they will hold your bag hostage in Toronto for additional bag fees. I had ice spilled on me, demands to put a small bag shoulder bag away while other passengers had large purses (same size), backpacks, etc. out. In Trinidad they had the longest line my girlfriend had ever SEEN at Piarco. People spent an hour or more in line to check in, ridiculous. No snacks on international flights. WORST of all, the same carry on that they will give you a green tag (if you want) to check at the gate at ANY U.S. airport (like the other U.S. airlines, to lure you into their den in Toronto), they will then refuse that carry on AFTER you've checked other bags to fly back to the states. In my case they demanded $150 for a checked bag fee or I could throw my bag away, what? Same carry on, same size I had taken on THREE OTHER AC flights that same week. Customer Service REFUSED to CREDIT MY CREDIT CARD, only offering a percent discount on future flights. I'm not going to fly an airline again that pulls a bait and switch holding my bag for ransom. BAD customer service, VERY INCONSISTENT policies. Avoid Air Canada like the plague. Worst air
