My Air Canada Story: July, 2016 - Flew to Malta; Air Canada flight was hours late, so we missed the connection in Rome; waited for 7 hours in Rome, you'd think AC would have time to get our bags on the next airplane, but no. First bag arrived in Malta 5 days later, after we told them where to find it. Second bag arrived 11 days late, same story. August - flew home - AC flight again delayed by several hours. At least our bags made it. Later in August - after much effort & argument, found out how to make a claim for delayed baggage expenses. Completed MANY pages of paperwork, scanned & sent in a 15 page PDF file. AC confirmed the file arrived on Sept. 10th and I would hear from someone in 5 days. I'm still waiting, more than 2 months later - so I thought I would call for an update. Today, Nov. 12, spent most of an hour on hold to speak with a person who needed a LOT of help to understand the situation, got the date of receipt wrong repeatedly, and finally told me to email AC for an update. Really? Asked for an email address - nope, had to use the crappy online form linked from the website. OK. Filled in the form - it won't send. Filled it in again. Repeatedly. Correctly. Nope, still
