Turkish Airlines review by MOHAMMED

We booked our flight from Istanbul to Barcelona using United Airlines mileage plus. On our reservation confirmation we were allowed one free luggage per seat. On the day of departure at Istanbul International Airport we were told the we did not have free luggage allowance and were charge US$450.00 for two pieces of luggage 19kg and 20 kg. Tried and showed my confirmation but they said its not in their system and I can file complaint with United Airlines. Had no choice but to pay or miss flight to USA On our arrival I contacted United and Turkish and they both pointed fingers at eachother. I have filed a formal complaint with US Department of Transportation and address separate letter to Hon. Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation and hope to get my money back.
