Horrible experience with this airline. First leg of our journey left 30 minutes late. Next flight delayed 3 hours! The customer service rep said it wasn't a "major delay" and could only give us a $10 food voucher (a burger no side or drink is $12...). Our flight is delayed another hour, and then cancelled with no announcement made, it just disappears from the board. The customer service line had at least 50 people waiting to get rebooked but the agent refused to attend us because she was "on break" and proceeded to eat right in front of us. They gave us food, transport, and hotel vouchers (lucky since some people were given nothing). We had to wait over an hour for them to release our bags to us, after already having spent 4 hours in the airport. The rep was constantly yelling at customers in baggage claim. The hotel was okay, but food service was horrible. $19/person for a horribly prepared buffet. Air Canada only gave us $7 for breakfast. Our re-booked flight was overbooked and I was given a seat while my mother had to wait and hope they could fit her in. We were on the same booking but assigned only one seat! Staff was unhelpful the entire time and very, VERY rude to everyone.
