For a flight thats nearly 5 hours long, I would hardly call it "regional" (HYD-SIN). In spite of other FSC's deploying 2-aisle aircraft, SIA /MI have consistently used only Silk Air to neglect this route, which is always full nearly everyday. For someone who needs to travel to APAC, I have started avoiding SIA simply because I will need to use Silk Air. The cabin space is just not enough, and the fact that their entertainment does not turn off on a Red-Eye flight is the worst. Cabin crew do not turn off the lights in Economy, leading to passengers being extremely tired upon landing in SIN. On top of this, there is no evidence of the SIA customer experience. My company has started avoiding SIA for business travel, simply because of SilkAir and use Cathay now (which sends an A330 from HYD-HKG)
