I was travelling Indigo in May. I had been refused boarding as I had reached a bit late. The girl at the counter misled me and due to this my trip got delayed a day, I had to buy fresh tickets for next days flight paying in full and buy a room to stay the night. This hit me back with a loss of around 20k. The shock was that I was not alone. There were lots of people at the counter facing the same harassment. I overheard the girl at the check in counter talking to another girl staff of Indigo that the flight is overbooked and they will have to refuse seat to anyone coming to check in after this. I think this is what is exactly going on here. They overbook the flights and then refuse admission to anyone who comes even slightly late (taking benefit of the fact that some people always get late) and then instead of apologizing for overbooking and repay for inconvenience; they harass them and make them suffer monetary and mentally.

I booked a ticket on INDIGO on 03JAN22 for 05JAN22 Cochin to Dubai at departure time 0030 local time but after the booking I get an SMS stating the departure time on 05JAN22 is 1300 local time which is a delay of almost 13 hours. and do not serve my purpose for the day. Their website had a problem then why should I suffer for it, hence I requested a full refund for which they are not willing to give. I called them and after talking to their customer service for 01 hour or more, she (Simran), would not give a full refund, neither solve the issue nor let me speak to her manager and want me book for another date. From her I understood that the 04JAN22 flight was cancelled and they rescheduled the 05JAN22 flight; which I did not want due to the change in timing and fly with another airline as I have to reach on 05JAN22 early morning.

I am grateful to indigo for making my journey so comfortable and smooth. My opinion regarding indigo airlines' services has changed drastically and I believe I shall opt for indigo whenever I am traveling next and even book it for my family during their travel. I had a pleasant flight experience and I'd like to commend your staff on an exceptional level of service. The service we had was a superb experience from check in @ patna & our arrival @ delhi and then to pune which was our destination. The service was truly flawless. The staffs that we encountered were extremely polite. In particular, I'd like to mention few names who assisted me at patna, delhi and pune airports! Mr Santosh @ patna airport, mr Vikram who went out of the way to assist us @ delhi airport, mr manish, mr Rahul bhati , mr Kanwar and mr vikas who took turns to help us at delhi airport to escort us to the lounge and then to the aircraft. Thanks to all porters( I don't remember their names though) for being a great help and carrying my hand baggage as I was with my baby Kashish.
